Palazzo della Ragione – Entrance of the Town Hall, Via VIII Febbraio
The upper floor of the palace (1218-1306) is home to one of the largest suspended halls in the world, “the Hall,” which hosts a giant wooden horse.
Cathedral and Baptistery – Piazza Duomo
The current Cathedral, for which Michelangelo contributed to the design, was completed between the 16th and 15th centuries. Its Baptistery was frescoed between 1375-78 by the Florentine painter Giusto de’ Menabuoi.
University and Pedrocchi Café – Via VIII Febbraio
The large complex known as Palazzo del Bo (1542-1601) is the home of the University, founded in 1222. Of great interest are the Old Courtyard, the Sala dei Quaranta, where Galileo’s chair is preserved, and the famous Anatomical Theatre, the oldest in the world (1594). Near the Bo stands the most famous café in Padua, the Pedrocchi, a neoclassical building that was a gathering place for intellectuals.
Basilica of St. Anthony – Piazza del Santo
Started immediately after the death of the Saint (1231), it is a large Romanesque-Gothic construction. It houses the remains of St. Anthony and attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Next to the Basilica are the Oratory of St. George, the School of St. Anthony, and the Antonian Museums.
Botanical Garden – Via Orto Botanico, 15
Founded in 1545, the Botanical Garden is located near Prato della Valle and hosts an important collection of rare plants, the ancient library, and the botanical collections of the University.

A bit away from the center of Arquà, the house where the poet Francesco Petrarca chose to spend the last years of his life is located.
Provincial Museum Villa Beatrice – Baone
In this ancient monastery, transformed into a Venetian villa, the main species of the local fauna are exhibited.
Provincial Museum Cava Bomba – Cinto Euganeo
In this old lime kiln, there is an archaeological-industrial path that illustrates the traditional process of lime production.
Villa dei Vescovi – Luvigliano
A refined villa from the early 16th century inspired by themes of classicism, surrounded by the landscape of the Euganean Hills, which interacts with the frescoes in its rooms, creating a harmonious blend of nature, art, and architecture, between reality and illusion.
CITTADELLA
The only walled city in all of Europe with a medieval Rampart Walk, elliptical in shape and fully walkable. The walls can be visited with a panoramic walk at a height of 15 meters, offering a unique experience of "Walking Through History."
VENICE
The city of love, an open-air museum, famous worldwide for its beauty that leaves you speechless every time you walk through its streets, as if it were the first time. To reach Venice, we recommend taking the regional train from the Terme Euganee station in Abano and Montegrotto. Trains run every hour at minute 35, and in less than an hour, you will arrive directly at the Venice S. Lucia station, right in the heart of the Venetian Lagoon.
VICENZA
Easily reachable by car in just over half an hour, the Palladian city is one of the most prosperous centers in the region, also home to various monuments designed during the late Renaissance by the renowned architect Palladio. It is precisely because of these works that the city has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
VERONA
The second most famous city in Veneto after Venice, Verona is home to the renowned Roman-era Arena and the famous Shakespearean play "Romeo and Juliet," where visitors can still admire the famous balcony of Juliet's house. A city full of life, with its famous squares and monumental buildings, Verona is easily reachable within an hour's drive via the A4 motorway.
Near our property, you will be immersed in the Colli Euganei Regional Park, a natural park of considerable scenic and cultural interest, a paradise for cycling enthusiasts.
Walking, cycling, or horseback riding along the hills' trails allows you to discover the flora, fauna, artistic treasures, and scenic beauty of the area.
For climbing enthusiasts, the Colli Euganei also offer the opportunity to practice in the natural rock climbing area of Rocca Pendice.
The entrance to the Anello Dei Colli Euganei, a cycling itinerary in the province of Padua, is also conveniently located. This route, inaugurated in 2012 and marked with the code E2, is an excursion route ideal for a single day's ride. The entire circular route, which surrounds the Regional Park, is approximately 63 kilometers long and is perfect for a day out (3-6 hours, depending on the bike and cyclist). If you prefer a more relaxed pace with stops to visit points of interest, you can divide the itinerary over a weekend and stay at one of the accommodations offering services for cycling tourists. The route, which runs along several waterways, is mostly flat, with only a light climb near Bastia. The Colli Euganei Ring passes through small towns, so you won't need to carry food and water, as rest points are available along the way.
The hills also frame the Euganean Thermal Baths, true oases of wellness and health, one of the most important thermal centers in Europe. The towns of Abano, Montegrotto, Battaglia, Galzignano, and Teolo, renowned for mud therapy, are home to 150 hotels with treatment departments and 200 indoor and outdoor pools.
Also nearby is the Praglia Abbey, a Benedictine monastery founded between the 11th and 12th centuries. It is open for visits daily (except holidays) during regular hours.

PadovaCard is a pass that allows you to visit the main points of interest in Padua under very advantageous conditions with a single purchase. The Card is:
Valid for 48 hours from the date and time of issuance (if issued on a Friday, it is valid until 24:00 on the following Sunday);
